Bolivia Biometric Electoral Register Satisfactory

La Paz, Sep 26 (Prensa Latina) The goals set by the Bolivian National Electoral Court (CNE) for biometric voter registration have been far accomplished this week.

  CNE president Antonio Costas informed the entity has far exceeded its projected goal of 3.8 million people so far registered for the general elections on December 6.

The goal was set according to the number of voters registered for the constitutional referendum in January.

The CNE and related institutions have reaffirmed the decision to continue the registration process in the country and abroad until October 15, according to the agreed procedure.

President Evo Morales recently rated as satisfactory the course of the biometric registration process, which began on August 1.
