Santa Cruz, Bolivia, Dec 2 (Prensa Latina) Four days before the general elections in Bolivia, President Evo Morales will travel to Santa Cruz Wednesday to attend the closing of the electoral campaign by the ruling Movement towards Socialism (MAS).
According to organizers of the act, at least half million Bolivians from that eastern region are expected to attend the mobilization.
The president will be accompanied by his current Vice President Alvaro Garcia, who completes the ticket of the ruling party for the coming elections.
As part of proselytizing activities, Evo headed a march on November 22 through all Santa Cruz’ constituencies, rated as historic for the mass support of the people.
Hundreds of thousands of Bolivians joined Evo going trough communities never before visited by a president.
The mass concentrations in every department are just a sign of the awaited electoral win, but the president himself has called not to stop explaining the people the importance of the elections to consolidate the process of change started in January 2006.
The last act closing the MAS electoral campaign will be held Thursday in El Alto, near the governmental headquarters.
