Registration Open for World People’s Conference on Climate Change and the Rights of the Mother Earth

From April 20-22, 2010, Bolivia will host a large gathering of civil society groups and governments at the first World People’s Conference on Climate Change and the Rights of the Mother Earth.

President Evo Morales invited the world to join him in Cochabamba, Bolivia, to set a new course for combating climate change and saving humanity and the Mother Earth after the 2009 UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen failed to produce a true consensus.

All are welcome to participate. About 100 organizations have already signed on, and over a dozen working groups have begun outlining topics for debate. Register and get involved by visiting http://pwccc.wordpress.com/ and help us spread the word!
