Bolivia Vs. Child Traffic to Argentina

La Paz, Mar 16 (Prensa Latina) The Bolivian daily Cambio exposed Bolivian child trafficking and slavery in Argentina by a ring operating in Rosario. The paper calls the trade a crime against humanity, violatory of every liberty and dignity, for national and transborder rings profit from exploiting individuals like mere “objects”. Bolivian Consul in Rosario William Eloy Medrano told the paper about child slavery in farms, brick factories and sweat shops in Santa Fe and Buenos Aires, among other places. Cambio reminds that Bolivia renewed the Protocol of Palermo, an international legal instrument that outlines and approves laws to fight the vice, along the UN 2000 Convention against Transnational Organized Crime.
