Argentinean President Starts Visit to Bolivia

Sucre, Bolivia, Mar 26 (Prensa Latina) Argentine President Cristina Fernandez arrived on Friday in this Bolivian city in an official visit, focused on historic valuation of heroine Juana Azurduy de Padilla and the signing of agreements on natural gas.

  Fernandez travelled accompanied by Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Planning Jorge Taiana and Julio de Vido, respectively.

Bolivian President Evo Morales, Vice president Alvaro Garcia and Foreign Minister David Choquehuanca went to welcome the Argentine president.

Granting the posthumous rank of Argentinian Army General to Bolivian patriot Azurduy de Padilla, who commanded a guerrilla column against the Spanish crown under Buenos Aires’ command.

Both presidents will also sign a new bilateral agreement on Bolivian natural gas supply to the Argentinian market to allow increasing fuel deliveries from 176.7 million square feet to 978.2 million square feet daily in 2017.
